Surah Sad is a ‘Makki’ Surah and it has 85 Ayaats or verses. According to reliable sources, when a person recites Surah Sad then the souls of all the Prophets (A.S.), the pious people and the believers send salutations to him and pray for his forgiveness. According to Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (A.S.) whoever recites this Surah once in every three days, his sins will be forgiven and he will become a God-fearing person.
According to some reliable religious sources, it is narrated from the Holy Prophet (SAW) that if this Surah is written and kept in a garden or farm, then the plants or crops will bear more fruit and become greener. If this Surah Sad is kept within certain business premises then business will prosper grow more giving profitable return to the owner. Keeping this Surah as a talisman works as a cure for wounds and scars. Surah Sad is also a remedy for heart problems, dizziness and nausea.
