Surah Kahf
This is the 18th Surah of the Holy Quran which is located in the 15th Para of the Quran. It is an early Makki Surah revealed on Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). Surah Al Kahf has a total of 110 verses, 12 Rukus, and 1583 words. You can also do Surah Kahf read online.
The word Kahf means cave because it defines the story of the fellows of the cave. Surah Kahf online is so much important because it will help you to keep safe from the tribulation of Dajjal. As Abu Darda (R.A) narrated the Last Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) mentioned: “Whoever memorizes ten verses from the beginning of Surat al-Kahf will be immune to the False Messiah.” Every Surah of the Quran has a theme and some message similar to the eighteenth chapter of the Quran also based on some themes which are behind the four stories mentioned in the Surah Kahf online.
The first story narrated in the Surah Al Kahf is about “The People of Cave” or “Ashabul Kahf” which gives us the lesson of examination of faith. The second story is about, “wealthy and poor” or “holder of two gardens” that teaches us about the testing of wealth. The third story in Surah Kahf is related to the Prophet “Moses and Khizar” that gives a message of “testing of knowledge”. The Fourth story is about “great King Du al-Qarnain” which briefs its reader from the message of “testing of power.” Surah Al Kahf is the well-known Surah of the Quran which understanding helps Muslims to take out important instructions which help them in guiding their life on the righteous path.
Benefits of Surah Kahf
Some people prefer to listen to Surah Kahf audio while driving or relaxing. However, Surah helps them in this regard. Surah Al Kahf gives the essence to those who have faith in God and they ask over for safety from Allah, He provides them the best safety. There are many benefits of reciting Surah Kahf Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) explain in Hadith that,
“Whoever reads Surah al Kahf on the day of Jumma will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next. (Al-Jaami)”
Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him ) said: “Whoever recites Surat Al-Kahf as it was revealed, it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection.” As it is clear from above mentioned Hadith of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) that reciting Surah has so many virtues so, therefore, each Muslim should make certain to read the Surah Kahf on daily basis and especially on Friday.
