Ingredients
  1. Fish fillet½ kg
    Saltto taste
    Garlic paste1 tsp
    White pepper powder½ tsp
    Black pepper powder½ tsp
    Mustard paste1 tbsp
    Lemon juice2 tbsp
    Flour4 tbsp
    Oil2 tbsp
    Mustard paste1 tbsp
    Vinegar2 tbsp
    Flour2 tbsp
    Saltto taste
    Chili powder½ tsp
    Sugar1 tsp
    Oil2 tbsp
Method
  • Cut fish into small cubes, marinate with salt to taste, 2 tbsp lemon juice, ½ tsp white pepper, ½ tsp black pepper powder, 1 tbsp mustard paste, ½ tsp garlic paste, 4 tbsp flour and 2 tbsp oil.
    Shallow fry the marinated fish with a little oil till golden brown.
    In a separate pan heat 2 tbsp oil, add flour and fry well for 1 – 2 minutes.
    Now add ½ tsp chili powder and salt to taste. Fry well.
    Then add ½ cup of water, cook till sauce thicken, add in mustard paste, 2 tbsp vinegar and 1 tsp sugar.
    Put the fried fish in a serving platter, top with mustard sauce and serve hot.
