Bread Peach Surprise Recipe by Shireen Anwar
Bread slices 12 cut into rounds with cutter and deep fry
Water 1 cup
Sugar ½ cup
Peach tin 1
Coco powder to dust as required
Ingredients for vanilla custard
Milk ½ kg
Condensed milk ½ tin
Corn flour 1 tbsp
Whipped cream as required for decoration
Cut bread slices with round cutter and deep fry, make sugar syrup by cooking together water and sugar till slightly thicken remove, dip your fried bread rounds in the sugar syrup and press between your palms to remove excess syrup, spread bread rounds in a platter, make thin custard by cooking together milk, condensed milk and corn flour, remove and cool.
Spread a thin layer of custard in a platter top with fried and soaked bread rounds, top with peach halves on each round, some more custard on peach, dust top with coco, decorate platter with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
