(Hassan Zaib, Karachi)

Libraries are just like books that are answers to everything. They tell us more about universe and everyone. It tells us deep down the earth our school subjects. Libraries are a great way to borrow books with no expense. Ordinary people use televisions, remarkable people use libraries. And that’s why they shouldn’t be closed. What’s the point of watching a film before reading the book? Books give you more of an understanding of what’s really going on in the tale and libraries are a cheap way of reading the book you want. Libraries are a quiet place for everyone and everyone to study. They are a place for people to bounce back and create a world of their own.

Libraries bring the community together and also help the economy. It provides resources to those who do not have access to them or cannot afford them. In a loud world, we sometimes need some quiet space, somewhere we can feel calm and safe, like the library. It has the universal rule of SHHHH, Whisper or NO TALKING! Renting books are free, so we get education for free. With Internet, we need Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi needs money. Education for free is a really good thing. We can get facts that we didn't know yet. Also library is quiet, so it helps on your concentration. Also in library you can take your homework and do it at their. It is really good to have a library around. Also looking at the Internet makes your eyes really bad. There are so many lessons that can be taught through reading that just cannot be taught any other way. We can get a story through a movie or a TV show, but when you read a book you engage and touch a part of your mind that begins imagining and thinking for itself like it does at no other time. Kids need to learn to think for themselves and imagine possibilities. Visiting a library allows them to travel to different works or different times in history. It allows them to confront different emotions and situation and to see through the eyes of another like no other media does. Worlds begin to unfold when you open a book.

Thus, libraries are important and have different uses for different individuals. Libraries cultivate reading habits and promote progress of knowledge. Library is a perfect place to indulge in the pleasure of reading and for researching. Nowadays, librarians provide complete assistance and guidance with researching and navigating information.
"Without Libraries what have we? We have no past and no future." (Ray Bradbury)
