Toward The Social Enquairy

Marcuse writes "Hatred and Frustration are deprived of their specific target, and the technological veil conceals the reproduction of inequality and enslavement...the slaves of developed industrial civilization is sublimated slaves but they are slaves, for slavery is determined. This is the pure form of servitude: to exist as an instrument, as a thing" .

In much of the world every society face some problems and they try to overcome or cope these problems after diagnosing the scientifically. When you will be able to diagnose the good you can treat better, if you fail in diagnosing you can never treat them in proper way for this purpose of inquiry the people use the scientific way for investigation. And they try to develop the consensus among the intellectuals of the society after this they try to apply on the whole society. They make laws and policies for this and develop the institutions for implementations.

When we see the own society in which we live there are number of the social problems like poverty, illiteracy, sectarianism and national disintegration so on so from the day first. In our society there are so called public intellectuals, philosophers and scholars they suggest and recommend the solutions for solving these social problems. And we listen and study all of these from last 63years age of the Pakistani society. But we see the problems are still there and every problem generate a new problem in the society. Why? Was there any scientific study to find out the causes of these problems? Is there any serious effort today for finding the causes? Because they give the suggestion and recommendation just on the behalf of the sweet dreams and his own personal wishes. They try to build a castle in the air without planning and research. How it can be possible in the scientific world. We see nothing on the current screen just noise of slogans among the crowd. In this crowd most of the philosophers; scholars have committed the intellectual suicide. They look the society from their own frame that covers the specific space rather than the whole society. They give the suggestions and recommendations for coping these issues and never listen the others opinions and never discussed with each others. Because there is no scientific study behind this. Why these problems occur what is the main cause behind this.

When we try to analyze the Pakistani society in broader paradigms we interpret it sociologically, politically and economically. Much of the world accepts this formula to look up the society in critical way. On the behalf of this differentiation could be possible either it a developed or underdeveloped society. We see our society is politically decayed. There is a political instability. Why? What is the reason behind this instability? What are the major factors behind this internal or externals? There is need to identify those factors. And number two our society is economically collapses. Our status in the contemporary world is as a big bagger. Why? Is there lack of natural or human resources or lack of planning and management? Because the Poverty is a big supply line of the social and moral evils. And the third one is our society is socially fragmented. Every body feels himself as a stranger and feels loneliness among the human society. Because in the capitalist society or system human relation and interaction pattern is totally based on economics. Humanity is now become a cheep commodity. They spend their life in emergency every body is frustrated and feel unrest, insecure and aliened.There is a huge stratification between the social classes. One a small minority class has a controlled over the resources of the whole society and other side majority is facing the problems and they have no resources for managing this. Why? Is it’s natural or social/ man made. The number of questions can be put here.

Who is the responsible of the destruction of the society and who can take initiative for construction of the society? First of all try to think and then share with others that what you have in your mind because the scientific process of the change is, thought, saying and take an action. But in our society the trend is different first action second sharing the others and third one is to thought. We should be start thinking with open minded and we should be review the history in scientific way.

We should realize that our society is playing a sick role. There is no capacity in the societal; structure for rethinking and resolving these issues. By diagnosing problems in this manner, solutions can be better directed by restructuring institutions rather than reforming individuals. Individual reform as solution to social problems never works. Let start to rethink that what is happening how is happening and why it is happening….???.
