Types of Religions:
There are many type of religions. But Islam,Hinduism and Christainity are some major types of religions.
Hinduism:
Hinduism the world's oldest religions, according to many scholars, with roots and customs datings back more than 4000 years. Hinduism is the third-largest religion behind Christainity and Islam.
Hindus value many scared writings as opposed to one holy book. The primary scared texts, known as the Vedes, were composed around 1500 B.C. THis collection of verses and hymns was written in Sanskrit and contains revelations received by ancient and sages. The Vedes are made up of.

Hindu worship, which is known as "puja" typically takes place in the Mandir(Temple). Followers of Hinduism can visit the Mandir any time they please.hindus can also worship at home, and many have a speical shirne dedicated to certain gods and goddesses.The giving of offerings is an important part of Hindu worship. It's a common practice to present gifts such as flowers or oils to a god.
Christianity:
The Christian faiths centers on belief regarding the birth,life,death and resurrection of Jesus christ.Most historians believe that Jesus was a real person who was born between 2 B.C and 7 B.C. Much of what scholars know about Jesus comes from the new testament of the christain bible. Jesus used parables-short stories with hidden messages-in his teaching.Some of the main themes that Jesus taught,which Christains later embraced,included:
Love God.
Love your neighbor as yourself.
Forgive others who have wronged you.
Love your enemies.
Ask God for forgiveness of your sins.
Islam:
Islam is the fastest growing religion.The word "Islam" means "submission to the will of god. Followers of Islam are called Muslims. Muslims are monotheistic and worship one, all- knowing God,who in Arabic as Allah.Followers of Islam aim to live a life of complete submission of Allah. They believe that nothing can happen witout Allah's permission,but humans have free will.Islam teaches that Allah's word was revealed to th prophets Muhammad (peace be upon him) through the angel gabriel.Muslim believe several prophets was sent to teach Allah's law.They respects some of the same prophets as Jews and Christains,including Abraham,Moses,Noah and Jesus. Muslim contend that Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the final prophets.Mosques are places where Muslims worship.Some important Islamic holyplaces include the Kaba shrine in Mecca,the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem,and the prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) mosque in Madina. the Quran is the major holy text of Islam.The Hadith is another important book. Follower worship Allah by praying and reciting the Quran. They believe there will be a day of judgment ,and life after death.
