Our Ethics Towards Decline
(Hafiz Muhammad Noman, Karachi)
I embarked a bus to go to my
office recently. The bus was full of crowd and I had to remain stand. Two men
were sitting in front of me that one man received a phone call a few minutes
later. The talking of the man on the phone alerted everybody’s ears as he
started to abuse someone on the other side of the phone. Every body felt ashamed
as the man was abusing and using slang language for other man’s mother on the
phone.
The whole situation shivered not only me but also every educated man in the bus
who was listening to him. How easily he was using swear words for mother of the
other man was so disgusting. It is elusive these kinds of incidents are usual in
our society these days that all from older to younger firstly abuse each other
and then talk with great laughter as nothing happened.
It is really a tragedy and a matter of concern why our ethics are going towards
decline. Is our educational system weak or parents are not educating their
children at home? The nation, whose condition is status quo, can never develop
unfortunately.
Allah kept paradise under the kept of mother not for abusing her but for respect
and love but today’s young generation do not consider it intentionally or
unintentionally and violate or humiliate their mothers which is condemnable. I
want to advise especially the youngsters to respect all your mothers and avoid
abusing your mothers intentionally or unintentionally as a joke because you can
lose paradise that awaits you under the feet of your mothers! Bag it before it
is too late. Hurry up!
