NATIONAL ILLS AND ITS CURES

Rane Discartes a 18th century philosopher & mathematician said “A man is a thinking animal & that I think therefore I am”. It is generally believed that due to faculty of thinking human strive for a high level of capability but animal do not.

Maslow has set up a hierarchy of five levels of needs. Human always keep on striving to fulfill these needs for satisfaction. The basic needs are the physiological one i.e. oxygen, water, food & relatively constant body temperature; other needs are safety, love recognition & self-actualization has been labeled “fully functioning person” healthy personality. Maslow says if the environment is right people will grow straight, tall & beautiful.

What have we done during the last 66 years to create a right sort of “environment “for the people to grow straight, tall & beautiful”? Nothing rather we knowingly and unknowingly destroyed our education system & healthy traditions.

Most of the politicians and leaders do not know or not interested to know the real cause of our deterioration from sport to Governance. There are many ills & its long term, medium & short term cures. The biggest culprit is ignorant, purposeless, non-uniform disorganized education system. Our schools, colleges & madrasses throw off thousands of block headed, slave minded good for nothing sort of young people in the market which create chaos & confusion sometimes terrorism in the society.

We are not as educated as we think we are but beginning the great experiment of universal schooling & it has not had time to effect profoundly our ways of thinking & public life. We think of education as the transmission of certain settled knowledge where as it should be a development of scientific habit of mind. Education should help us in changing the inner attitude of mind without which is not possible to change the outer aspect of personal and public life. The larger use of science and scientific method in education would give us a measure of that intellectual conscience which believe up to evidence in hand is always ready to discard that may be wrong. With such methods education may prove great solvent to our ills. It is quite conceivable that education would mould a person to admire art, poetry and beauty more than wealth and would guide itself by the resolution to promote all that is creative and so diminishes the desires that centre round possession and directed greed. There is nothing that man might not do if our organization, schools, madrassas were properly manned and directed intelligently to the re-structure of human character.

The long term solution of ills is to restructure revamp the entire education system with standardized uniform character and health building syllabus and curriculum throughout the country under the central government. The provisional education ministers and directorate to be restored to pre-amendment period to look after maintenance, operations, service rules, posting and transfer etc. The provincial education ministers will assist the central ministry with improving the quality of education, skill of the students leaving the maddaras. Entry age, qualification test, no of students in colleges and maddaras, introduction of matriculation and at least three technical subjects like electrician, auto electrician, auto mechanic, driving, plumber etc. be taught in each madrassas.

Imam Ghazali in his book “Ahya-ul-uloom-ud-dean” puts acquisition of religious knowledge (Elm-ud-dean) at the top priority followed by Hikmat and other subjects.

In central Europe the Jews distinguished themselves as merchant and financier. In Peninsula they absorbed gladly the mathematical, medical and philosophical lore of the Arabs and developed their own culture in the schools of Cordova, Barcelona and Seville. Here in the 12th and 13th centuries the Jews played a prominent part in transmitting ancient and oriental culture to East and West which stopped in the 1492 after the fall of Granada by Ferdinand and expulsion of Jews and moors from Spain the citadel of learning in the East developed their own tradition and culture which more or less survive in madrasas.

Now, it is right time to give some secular status to these madrasas. Academic status of all madrasas is increased to cover passing out period by at least three years. Apart from awarding matriculation certificate each will also award two years or three diplomas in technical subject like electrician, auto mechanics, TV, mobile serving certificate, hydrothermal power attendant’s operator course, forming dairy, goat forming, driving etc. seeing the present policies of the Taliban. There will be some resistance from Taliban for making madrasas secular. This has to be overcome by providing better opportunity and persuasions in madrasas.

The 2nd biggest culprit in our political parties which are in fact not political parties but a business partnership like joint stock company, family cults, bigotry using tombs and dead bodies to agitate the ignorant masses in their favour through massive propagandas wasting huge public funds.

Income support program three lakhs of rupees and two week training program is a totally futile exercise spoiling the nation. It is not life that matters it is the courage you bring to it. Anything given free including training diminishes the desire for respectful courageous living. Do not make nation bagger.

A very big man in a big province spent billions of rupees on totally futile, useless projects /schemes like sasti roti, Danish schools, Ashyana housing scheme, lap top and yellow cabs are useless ,nonproductive ,ill-timed projects will bring at the end of day more miseries to the masses than prosperity by increasing extra burden on exchequer.

The political parties and their so called self pro claimed leaders who grabbed the leadership either by conspiracy, inheritance or as a gift from a General must be removed from their seats. These leaders with their power hungry infested mind are responsible for all ills and woes. It will be unwise to expect them to reverse the cycle with the same infested mind. The heedless big bulldozer in the big province has already exposed himself to the world as a non-scrupulous leader, now other big leader is an established liar and thief has clearly manipulated his Government to save himself. Yet another leader runs two large hospitals in the city but get treatment for himself and family from London. What a hell of mass of contradiction. All these known fraudulent leader with power hungry aptitude be disqualified along with their team to hold any public office and should be replaced by person who acts and believe like Thoreau “to be a philosopher is not merely to have subtle thoughts; nor even to found a school but so to love wisdom as to live according to its dictates, a life of simplicity, independence magnanimity and trust”. A system/mechanism has to evolve to carve out “Thoreau man” out of existing junk of people. New system of grooming and educated has to be put in practice even though it leaves fruit after two decades. Europe took about three centuries (1514-1815) to convert people from church dominated occult and metaphysical faith to positivism (Renaissance period) philosopher, sociologist like Voltair, Rosean, Disearates, Galileo, Copernicus, Kaplar, John Lock played great roll in renaissance.

If a person is generally good magnanimous and caries certain amount of respect in the community due to pragmatic approach honest and profession like doctors, judges, government servants, policeman and Patwari but teachers are not given respect and recognition. In order to create fraternity and love in the country teaching profession be declared as the most sacred and noble profession and the teacher as the noblest person. Not with standing. The position of teacher from primary teacher to professor will carry some degree of respect from the public. A detail can be worked out to pay respect and relief given to the teacher to enhance his social status and to make him satisfied with life and his work a happy and not disgruntled person. Theoretically every citizen is provided and trained to live with in the “respectable limit of poverty” curbing poverty and fixing salary of the teachers is guided if possible by this principle. A notification/law is to be annexed as soon as possible to make teaching NOBEL and implemented as soon as possible. Only carefully selected person or group of people be allowed to enter private schools and colleges with restriction on earning. In private sector, teaching is treated as service provider not as money making machine. No school should be allowed to operate without quality play grounds and sport facilities.

There are many known small ills and menace with known cures. These are as follows:
• Five days a week
• 1900/2000 hours closing timing of all the markets. No ultimate loss to traders and the consumers. Protest to be dealt with iron hands.
• Prevention of theft and recovery of utilities bills
• Stoppage of the funds to MNA and MPAS for development work.

All work to be got done departmentally. It will stop all sort of black mailing corruption Population discipline and control can be achieved of population but the provincial and central government due to lose governance fear of losing votes do not implement the above simple reforms. Actually the leaders do not have intention to implement scheme for permanent prosperity but for increasing vote bank and attracting corrupt influential elites.

On the face of it the route causes of the problem is due to bad governance, corruption, lack of wisdom and commitment which further increases the problems many fold. If the government is in itself in a chaos and absurdity, it rules without helping and commands without leading them how can a person be persuaded in such a state to obey the laws within the total good until ,committed, disciplined and honest government is restored in the country through newly elected better politicians.

The enemy with huge resources, logistic and control have penetrated deep in Pakistan defense and is fully engaged in war of ITTRITION. Perhaps we are made victim of Bavarian illuminati an enlighten era secret society formed Bavarian on May, 1776 to oppose superstition, prejudice and abuse of government power, religion influence on people life. It was disbanded in 1785 by the Barvalian government .They had regrouped and was responsible for the French Revolution. Illumanati or secret similar organization alleged to conspire to control the world affairs by masterminding events by planting agent in government and large co-operation to establish a new world into order “to gain further influence. The group is very ruthless and cruel can do anything for the completion of the agenda to have a control over the world power. The illumanati has trigged world war-I & war-II simultaneously built ammunition factories in Rassia, Japan, USA, U.K and Germany to establish control over the world finances. A consortium of local and foreign secret agent be formed to prob into possible environment of illuminati is to the terrorist activities in Pakistan. Based on reports multipronged strategy can be adopted on scientific basis to fight the manner with love and understanding.

In Karachi and somewhere else the all sort of terrorist do not know their victims. They kill and ran away unidentified. The purpose of terrorist is not merely to kill people, they do not know but they kill for satisfaction and money. The unidentified killer killed and ran away leaving their victims on the spot Then who comes first and start spreading the terror; obviously the electronic and print media. The 20/20 style cricket match coverage of terrorist and activities spread the terror in the country. The media coverage is counterproductive and harmful for the country should be banned immediately.
