“Part of your heritage in this society is the opportunity to become financially independent.” Jim Rohn

Heritage is always important for country. It is important in understanding the story of a country. Every country has its own cultural and the historical heritage. Pakistan is very rich in its both cultural and historical heritage. It gives us sense of identity. It helps you determine your starting position. In the development of Pakistan society, its cultural heritage has played a vital role. Pakistani nation is justly proud of the historical period which brings with nearly 4th century B.C and continued with the advent of Islam in Sub Continent in 8th century A.D. but unfortunately our historical places are badly neglected by government. Taxila museum, Mohenjo Daru and many historical forts are destroying.

There was time when tourist from the whole world was attracted towards the historical buildings of Pakistan. But now due to negligence of our government and tourism ministry, and because of terrorism these places are giving a view of ruin places instead of presenting our historical heritage. Quid-e-Azam residency is a big example of the victim of terrorist attack.

Stupa is a renowned Buddhist tourist attraction in Sawat. This historic heritage is crumbling down and monument is near to collapse entirely. Shah Jahan mosque is a gift of shah Jahan to the people of Sindh but now it is lost its beauty because of negligence.

Unfortunately this precious piece of architecture is destroying and government has not yet taken safety measures for it.

All these places like Taxila museum, Badshahi mosque etc are our precious belongings. Government should take steps to maintain and restore these places. Due to the negligence, our terrorism industry is now destroying and it has bad effect on our economy. Except this, if we lost these, we will lost our our history and our next generation would not have the knowledge about their forefathers. Government should do something worthy before crying on split milk.
