Never tease a worthy human being ever in life

(Abdul Rehman Mir, Islamabad)

Sabir seemed very upset and was shouting at his best friend. His friend abused him using very infuriating words and left the spot. I supported Sabir and gave him a glass of water so he could recover his sense. I never saw him in such arrogant and angry mood. He has been very humble, kind, loving, caring, sympathetic and friendly to everyone in his life. People who came across him always praised his being a very perfect human being. I asked him why was he quarrelling with his best friend. He just said if his friend had not done a favor in his life, he would not have made any relationship with him. I asked him what kind of favor? He said that his friend had given him blood when he was in need. ‘Since that day he had been exploiting me’ said Sabir. I did everything for him. I gave him first before I ate anything. I fulfilled everything whatever he demanded. I tolerated every humiliation when he insulted me just for the sake of the precious blood he gave me. After all what he wants me to do? Does he want me to give me the blood he gave me earlier? Should I keep on paying for the blood until I die? I did everything whatever he asked me to do but I would never give him back the blood as it is the part of my life now. Today onwards, people will see that humbleness may also become violent and unfriendly when a humble man is persistently compelled to be so. Human crude and brute nature behave wildly when they acquire a little power and impose their power wherever they get a chance. As a result, humble and compassionate people are depressed and suppressed. I said; Sabir! cool down. Allah likes those who bear all the hardships of life. Sabir replied, I know everything but sometimes we should also repair the vehicles if they don’t work properly. Allah will not repair the vehicle for you. I said; if you have strong faith and belief in Allah like the Prophet Ibrahim had when he was throwing into a big inferno. He was protected by Allah as he had firm belief in The Merciful and The Omnipotent.
