All of us have seen "Silence of
the lambs" The movie in which Jodie Foster stars as Clarice Foster,student at
FBI's training academy. The film was based on a serial killer, who used to take
out skins of women to make a women's skin suit for himself. Interesting enough
what our tongues are used to do for our beloved politicians.
I am not against any government, the riddle of handicapping of media and
Internet is quit alarming for all of us, certainly I am just questioning the big
brains, indigenous people, why they take criticism personally. All over the
world people have the right to speak out their thoughts, then why in the
democracy of Pakistan, we have been treated as we are living in Hitler's regime.
Only we are not butchered directly. Instead, we are stuffed with a law full bill
and some parchments that say now you are no longer allowed to express yourself,
"It is hurting, people in authority." I as a lay man who doesn't know much about
democracy, can judge that it is violation of democracy. What are we supposed to
do when the supermen of democracy are actually the ones who doesn't like to
taste the bitterness any more, what they want now, is a little taste of skins
and blood. Which sure has to come, as we are certainly against serial killers.
Who are continuously violating democracy and showing off their generosity. How
on earth would you expect people will react, if you take away their freedom of
speech?
