The recent triple suicide
attack in the city of Lahore has jolted the country once again. At least 37
people were killed in these triple suicide bombing that has targeted a Shiite
procession in Lahore on Youm-e-Ali on Wednesday night. About 300 people got
injured in this terrible incident.
This is not a new incident of such kind. Pakistan has been witnessing these
bleeding attacks since 2007. At that time these suicide bombers were called the
Taliban. But now no one knows that who is behind these attacks. Who are these
people who call themselves Muslims but do not follow Islam? Islam is a religion
of peace which basically guides you towards the path of unity and harmony. These
suicide bombers are not Shia or Sunni or belong to any kind of religion. They
are just suicide bombers who want to destroy our nation through these shameful
deeds.
The important thing that I want to bring into notice is that, these suicide
bombers use to do these attacks for many years, but the aftermath of these
attacks are more horrible. People start to burn the assets of their own beloved
country, making the task of these enemies easier. We, Muslims, have always seen
such situations throughout our history. But we get united at the time of such
incidents. Why are we loosing hopes now? At this time when our country has fall
prey to the flood disaster, we need to cooperate with each other, our forces and
our authorities. Burning our own places can never help us in any regard.
My request to all Pakistanis is to build your morale and mental level at a point
from where you can understand the main goal of the enemies of our country and
act well after such disastrous incidents.
