Have you ever got trapped in an
Elevator? It’s strange but quite a lot of times I had got trapped in an Elevator
with one of my friends. It was such a unique experience of my life. If you
happen to trap in an Elevator with several people around you, then u find it
easy to calm yourself down and relax, but if u manage to trap alone in an
Elevator, then it’s kind of frightening and deadly. You just cannot think of
life at that time. All that is on your mind is the word “HELP”. In the
beginning, when it happened for the first time I got half dead but then I
started enjoying being trapped in an Elevator (I like to call it a Big Boss
Small House). I learnt to deal with my emotions and adopted several methods and
techniques to cheer myself up in that situation. Let me share some of the most
hilarious things you can do, if u ever find yourself trap in an Elevator.
• Offer name tags to everyone getting on the elevator.
• Start playing “Stand Up, Sit Down” game.
• Make race car noises when anyone gets on or off.
• Do Yoga exercises.
• Draw a little square on the floor with chalk and announce to the other
passengers that this is your "personal space."
• Show other passengers a wound and ask if it looks infected.
• Sing "Mary had a little lamb" while continually pushing buttons.
• Stare at another passenger for a while, then announce "You're one of THEM!"
and move to the far corner of the elevator.
• Crack silly jokes.
• Carry a blanket and clutch it protectively.
• Make explosion noises when anyone presses a button.
• Give religious lectures to everyone trap in the elevator.
Wear a puppet on your hand and talk to other passengers "through" it.
Say "I wonder what all these do" and push the red buttons.
• Stare at your thumb and say "I think it's getting larger."
• Point out anyone and start laughing by looking at him.
• Sing a song loudly in the elevator.
I am sure if you will practice the above mentioned tips, you will not only cool
down your own self, but you will give a very nice company to your fellows as
well and will play an essential role in relaxing their mind and body!
