مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِیِّ وَ الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْۤا اَنْ یَّسْتَغْفِرُوْا لِلْمُشْرِكِیْنَ وَ لَوْ كَانُـوْۤا اُولِیْ قُرْبٰى مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَیَّنَ لَهُمْ اَنَّهُمْ اَصْحٰبُ الْجَحِیْمِ ﴿۱۱۳﴾

نبی اور ایمان والوں کو لائق نہیں کہ مشرکوں کی بخشش چاہیں اگرچہ وہ رشتہ دار ہوں (ف۲۶۵) جبکہ انہیں کھل چکا کہ وہ دوزخی ہیں (ف۲۶۶) ﴿۱۱۳﴾
(ترجمہ: کنزالایمان) پیغمبر اور مسلمانوں کو شایاں نہیں کہ جب ان پر ظاہر ہوگیا کہ مشرک اہل دوزخ ہیں۔ تو ان کے لیے بخشش مانگیں گو وہ ان کے قرابت دار ہی ہوں ﴿۱۱۳﴾

It is not for the Prophet, and those who believe, to pray for the forgiveness of idolaters even though they may be near of kin (to them) after it hath become clear that they are people of hell-fire. ﴾113﴿
