Surah Waqiah is the 56th Surah of Holy Quran which was revealed in Mecca city. There are 96 verses and 3 Ruko in this Surah. It discusses the afterlife in detail. Surah Waqiah distinguishes the three classes of people in the afterlife, such as "the foremost", "the companions of the right" and "the companions of the left". The first two groups will enter paradise while the companions of the left will go to hell. "The right" ones are associated with goodness; and will receive their records of deeds in their right hand. The "foremost" are a special group of people who will have an even better fate than the companion of the right in the afterlife. They include prophets, the saints, the martyrs, and the first to accept Islam.
