Surah Juma PDF Full

Jumma is not an ordinary prayer but a weekly gathering of the Muslim community for a special congregational prayer, followed by a sermon reminding them of their duties towards Allah and the world. Through verses from Surah Jummah, believers are called upon to reflect on their priorities and abstain from worldly distractions once the call for prayer has been made.

Surah Juma is the 62nd chapter of the Holy Qur'an. This is a Madani surah and was revealed in Madinah. A very short surah comprising just 11 verses and important for the life of every Muslim on the day of Jumu'ah (Friday prayer).

Famous Ayat of Surah Jumma

A beautiful, highly quoted verse from Surah Juma PDF is Ayat 9:

" O you who have believed, when the call to prayer is made on the day of Jumu'ah, then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you if you only knew." (Surah Jumu’ah 62:9)

The verse laid a lot of emphasis on the importance of performing Jumu'ah. If the azan for the Jumma is sounded, people are encouraged to stop all worldly trading and other business activities so that their acts of worship and remembrance come directly to Allah. Therefore, it says that the act takes precedence over all others, especially on this holy day.
