حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قَوْلِهِ:‏‏‏‏ وَفُرُشٍ مَرْفُوعَةٍ سورة الواقعة آية 34، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ارْتِفَاعُهَا كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَسِيرَةُ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا خَمْسُ مِائَةِ عَامٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ رِشْدِينَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مَعْنَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ:‏‏‏‏ وَارْتِفَاعُهَا كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ارْتِفَاعُ الْفُرُشِ الْمَرْفُوعَةِ فِي الدَّرَجَاتِ وَالدَّرَجَاتُ مَا بَيْنَ كُلِّ دَرَجَتَيْنِ كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ.

Urdu Translation

ابو سعید خدری رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے آیت کریمہ: «وفرش مرفوعة» ”جنتیوں کے اونچے اونچے بچھونے ہوں گے“ ( الواقعہ: ۳۴ ) ، کے سلسلے میں فرمایا: ”ان بچھونوں کی اونچائی اتنی ہے جنتا آسمان و زمین کے درمیان کا فاصلہ ہے اور ان کے درمیان چلنے کی مسافت پانچ سو سال کی ہے“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث غریب ہے، ہم اسے صرف رشدین کی روایت سے جانتے ہیں، ۲- بعض اہل علم کہتے ہیں: اس حدیث میں «ارتفاعها كما بين السماء والأرض» کا مفہوم یہ ہے کہ بچھونوں کی اونچائی درجات کی بلندی کے مطابق ہو گی اور ہر دو درجے کے درمیان کا فاصلہ اتنا ہو گا جتنا آسمان و زمین کے درمیان کا فاصلہ ہے۔

English Translation

Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri may Allah be pleased with him, narrated : from the Prophet – regarding Allah’s saying ‘And on couches raised high – he said: “Their height is as what is between the heavens and the earth, and the distance between the two of them is five hundred years.”
