Abu Hurairah narrated that: Allah's Messenger (S) said: When one of you prays the two Rak'ah of Fajr then let him lay down on his right (side).

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ فَلْيَضْطَجِعْ عَلَى يَمِينِهِ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ فِي بَيْتِهِ اضْطَجَعَ عَلَى يَمِينِهِ وَقَدْ رَأَى بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنْ يُفْعَلَ هَذَا اسْتِحْبَابًا.

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کوئی فجر کی دو رکعت ( سنت ) پڑھے تو دائیں کروٹ پر لیٹے“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کی حدیث اس سند سے حسن صحیح غریب ہے، ۲- اس باب میں عائشہ رضی الله عنہا سے بھی روایت ہے، ۳- عائشہ رضی الله عنہا سے بھی مروی ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی الله علیہ وسلم جب فجر کی دونوں رکعتیں اپنے گھر میں پڑھتے تو اپنی دائیں کروٹ لیٹتے، ۴- بعض اہل علم کی رائے ہے کہ ایسا استحباباً کیا جائے۔
