Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: He who eats of this plant (garlic) should not approach our mosque and should not harm us with the odour of garlic.

وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ - قَالَ عَبْدٌ: أَخْبَرَنَا، وَقَالَ ابْنُ رَافِعٍ: - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدٌ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ، فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدَنَا، وَلَا يُؤْذِيَنَّا بِرِيحِ الثُّومِ

  حضرت ابو ہریرہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’جس نے اس پودے میں سے کچھ کھایا ہو وہ ہرگز ہماری مسجد کے قریب نہ آئے اور نہ ہمیں لہسن کی بو سے تکلیف دے ۔ ‘ ‘

Hadith No. 1255
