Baab Masjid Aur Namaz Ki Jagahain

دَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، قَالَ: هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا، وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا نُودِيَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَأْتُوهَا وَأَنْتُمْ تَمْشُونَ، وَعَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةُ، فَمَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ فَصَلُّوا وَمَا فَاتَكُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا»

Urdu Translation

  ہمام بن منبہ نے کہا : یہ احادیث ہیں جو ابوہریرہ ‌رضی ‌اللہ ‌عنہ ‌ ‌ نے رسو ل اللہ ﷺ سے ( سن کر ) ہمیں سنائیں ، انھوں نے متعدد احادیث ذکر کیں ، ان مین سے یہ بھی تھی کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا : ’’جب نماز کے لیے بلاوا دیا جائے تو اس کے لیے چلتے ہوئے آؤ ، اور تم پر سکون ( طاری ) ہو ، جو ( نماز کا حصہ ) مل جائے ، وہ پڑھ لو اور جو رہ جائے اسے مکمل کر لو ۔ ‘ ‘

English Translation

Abu Huraira reported ahadith from the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ), and one of them is that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon), said: When the call is made for prayer come to it walking with tranquillity, and pray what you are in time for, and complete what you have missed.
