Baab Quran Ke Fazail Aur Mutalqa Amoor

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَرَّادٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ بُرَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تَعَاهَدُوا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَهُوَ أَشَدُّ تَفَلُّتًا مِنْ الْإِبِلِ فِي عُقُلِهَا وَلَفْظُ الْحَدِيثِ لِابْنِ بَرَّادٍ

Urdu Translation

  عبد اللہ بن براد اشعری اور ابو کریب نے کہا ہمیں ابو اسامہ نے برید سے انھوں نے ابو بردہ سے انھوں نے حضرت ابو موسیٰ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے اور انھوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے حدیث بیان کی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فر ما یا : " قرآن کی نگہداشت کرو اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں محمد ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) کی جا ن ہے ! یہ بھا گنے میں پاؤں بندھے اونٹؤں سے بڑھ کر ہے ۔ اس حدیث کے الفاظ ابن براد ( کی روایت ) کے ہیں ۔

English Translation

Abu Musa al-Ash'ari reported Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: Keep refreshing your knowledge of the Qur'an, for I swear by Him in Whose Hand is the life of Mahammad that it is more liable to escape than camels which are hobbled.
