و حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَامِرُ بْنُ وَاثِلَةَ اللَّيْثِيُّ أَنَّ نَافِعَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْحَارِثِ الْخُزَاعِيَّ لَقِيَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ بِعُسْفَانَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ

شعیب نے زہری سے خبر دی ، انھوں نے کہا : مجھے عامر بن واثلہ لیثی نے حدیث بیان کی کہ نافع بن عبدالحارث خزاعی نے عسفان ( کے مقام ) پر حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے ملاقات کی ۔ ۔ ۔ ( آگے ) زہری سے ابراہیم بن سعد کی روایت کی طرح بیان کیا ۔
