Baab Jihad Aur Us Ke Doraan Rasool Saw Ke Ikhtiar Kerda Tareeqe

وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ، وَزَادَ وَكَانَ يَسْتَحِبُّ ثَلَاثًا يَقُولُ: «اللهُمَّ، عَلَيْكَ بِقُرَيْشٍ، اللهُمَّ، عَلَيْكَ بِقُرَيْشٍ، اللهُمَّ، عَلَيْكَ بِقُرَيْشٍ» ثَلَاثًا، وَذَكَرَ فِيهِمُ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ عُتْبَةَ، وَأُمَيَّةَ بْنَ خَلَفٍ، وَلَمْ يَشُكَّ، قَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ: وَنَسِيتُ السَّابِعَ

Urdu Translation

  سفیان نے ابواسحاق سے اسی سند کے ساتھ اسی طرح روایت کی اور اس میں یہ اضافہ کیا کہ آپ تین بار ( دعا کرنا ) پسند فرماتے تھے ، اور آپ نے تین بار فرمایا : " اے اللہ! قریش پر گرفت فرما ، اے اللہ! قریش پر گرف فرما ، اے اللہ! قریش پر گرفت فرمااور اس میں ولید بن عتبہ اور امیہ بن خلف کا نام لیا ( ابی بن خلف اور امیہ بن خلف کے ناموں میں ) شک نہیں کیا ، ابواسحاق نے کہا : ساتواں شخص میں بھول گیا

English Translation

Abu Ishiq has narrated a similar tradition through a different chain of transmitters and has added: He (the Messenger of Allah) loved to repeat the supplication thrice. He was saying: O Allah, it is for Thee to deal with the Quraish (repeating these words thrice). And among the Quraish, he mentioned (the names of) al-Walid b. 'Utba and Umayya b. Khalaf. (The narrator says there is no doubt about the names of these persons but he has forgotten the name of the seventh man).
