Thauban, the freed slave of Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ), reported that Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) said: He who visits the sick continues to remain in the fruit garden of Paradise until he returns.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا لَمْ يَزَلْ فِي خُرْفَةِ الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ

  ہشیم نے ہمیں خالد سے خبر دی ، انہوں نے ابوقلابہ سے ، انہوں نے ابواسماء سے ، انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے آزاد کردہ غلام حضرت ثوبان رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : " جو شخص کسی مریض کی عیادت کرتا ہے وہ واپس آنے تک مسلسل جنت کی ایک روش پر رہتا ہے ۔ "
