حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَأَهْلَلْنَا بِعُمْرَةٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ فَلْيُهِلَّ بِالْحَجِّ مَعَ الْعُمْرَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ لَا يَحِلُّ حَتَّى يَحِلَّ مِنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَدِمْتُ مَكَّةَ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ وَلَمْ أَطُفْ بِالْبَيْتِ وَلَا بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَ الْمَرْوَةِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَشَكَوْتُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ انْقُضِي رَأْسَكِ وَامْتَشِطِي وَأَهِلِّي بِالْحَجِّ وَدَعِي الْعُمْرَةَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ فَفَعَلْتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَمَّا قَضَيْنَا الْحَجَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَرْسَلَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ إِلَى التَّنْعِيمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَاعْتَمَرْتُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذِهِ مَكَانُ عُمْرَتِكِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ فَطَافَ الَّذِينَ أَهَلُّوا بِالْعُمْرَةِ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَ الْمَرْوَةِ ثُمَّ حَلُّوا ثُمَّ طَافُوا طَوَافًا آخَرَ بَعْدَ أَنْ رَجَعُوا مِنْ مِنًى لِحَجِّهِمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَانُوا جَمَعُوا الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ فَإِنَّمَا طَافُوا طَوَافًا وَاحِدًا. قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ رَوَاهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَ مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ نَحْوَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا:‏‏‏‏ طَوَافَ الَّذِينَ أَهَلُّوا بِعُمْرَةٍ وَطَوَافَ الَّذِينَ جَمَعُوا الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ.

Urdu Translation

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   حجۃ الوداع میں ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نکلے تو ہم نے عمرے کا احرام باندھا پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس کے ساتھ ہدی ہو تو وہ عمرے کے ساتھ حج کا احرام باندھ لے پھر وہ حلال نہیں ہو گا جب تک کہ ان دونوں سے ایک ساتھ حلال نہ ہو جائے ، چنانچہ میں مکہ آئی، میں حائضہ تھی، میں نے بیت اللہ کا طواف نہیں کیا اور نہ صفا و مروہ کے درمیان سعی کی، لہٰذا میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس کی شکایت کی تو آپ نے فرمایا: اپنا سر کھول لو، کنگھی کر لو، حج کا احرام باندھ لو، اور عمرے کو ترک کر دو ، میں نے ایسا ہی کیا، جب میں نے حج ادا کر لیا تو مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( میرے بھائی ) عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی بکر کے ساتھ مقام تنعیم بھیجا ( تو میں وہاں سے احرام باندھ کر آئی اور ) میں نے عمرہ ادا کیا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ تمہارے عمرے کی جگہ پر ہے ، ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں: چنانچہ جنہوں نے عمرے کا احرام باندھ رکھا تھا انہوں نے بیت اللہ کا طواف کیا اور صفا و مروہ کے درمیان سعی کی، پھر ان لوگوں نے احرام کھول دیا، پھر جب منیٰ سے لوٹ کر آئے تو حج کا ایک اور طواف کیا، اور رہے وہ لوگ جنہوں نے حج و عمرہ دونوں کو جمع کیا تھا تو انہوں نے ایک ہی طواف کیا ۱؎۔ ابوداؤد کہتے ہیں: اسے ابراہیم بن سعد اور معمر نے ابن شہاب سے اسی طرح روایت کیا ہے انہوں نے ان لوگوں کے طواف کا جنہوں نے عمرہ کے طواف کا احرام باندھا، اور ان لوگوں کے طواف کا جنہوں نے حج اور عمرہ دونوں کا احرام باندھا ذکر نہیں کیا۔

English Translation

Aishah the wife of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم at the farewell pilgrimage and raised the voice in talbiyah for an ‘Umrah. The Apostel of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said those who have brought the sacrificial animals with them should raise their voices in talbiyah for Hajj along with an ‘Umrah and they should not put off their Ihram till they do so after performing them both. I came to Makkah while I was menstruating and I did not go round the House (the Kaabah) or run between al-Safa and al-Marwah. I complained about this to the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم he said: Undo your hair, comb it and raise your voice in talbiyah for Hajj and let Umrah go. She said I did so. When we performed Hajj, the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم sent me along with Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakr to al-Ta’nim and I performed Umrah. He said, this is Umrah in place of the one you had missed. She said those who had raised their voices in talbiyah for Umrah put off Ihram after circumambulating the House (the Kaabah) and after running between al-Safa and al-Marwa. Then they performed another circumambulation for their Hajj after they returned from Mina but those who combined Hajj and Umrah performed only one circumambulation.
