حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ الدَّامِغَانِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى قُبَاءَ يُصَلِّي فِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَجَاءَتْهُ الْأَنْصَارُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَسَلَّمُوا عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَقُلْتُ لِبِلَالٍ:‏‏‏‏ كَيْفَ رَأَيْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِمْ حِينَ كَانُوا يُسَلِّمُونَ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَقُولُ هَكَذَا:‏‏‏‏ وَبَسَطَ كَفَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَبَسَطَ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ كَفَّهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَعَلَ بَطْنَهُ أَسْفَلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَجَعَلَ ظَهْرَهُ إِلَى فَوْقٍ .

Urdu Translation

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز پڑھنے کے لیے قباء گئے، تو آپ کے پاس انصار آئے اور انہوں نے حالت نماز میں آپ کو سلام کیا، وہ کہتے ہیں: تو میں نے بلال رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا: جب انصار نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو حالت نماز میں سلام کیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کس طرح جواب دیتے ہوئے دیکھا؟ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کہا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس طرح کر رہے تھے، اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنی ہتھیلی کو پھیلائے ہوئے تھے، جعفر بن عون نے اپنی ہتھیلی پھیلا کر اس کو نیچے اور اس کی پشت کو اوپر کر کے بتایا۔

English Translation

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم went to Quba to offer prayer. Then the Ansar (the Helpers) came to him and gave him a salutation while he was engaged in prayer. I asked Bilal: How did you find the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم responding to them when they gave him a salutation while he was engaged in prayer. He replied: In this way, and Jafar ibn Awn demonstrated by spreading his palm, and keeping its inner side below and its back side above.
