Muhammad bin 'Amr said: Abu Salamah narrated to us, from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Whoever is given something as a lifelong gift, it belongs to him.'

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ لَهُ .

ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرمایا: ”جس آدمی کو کوئی چیز بطور عمریٰ دی گئی تو وہ چیز اسی کی ( ہمیشہ کے لیے ) ہو گئی“۔
