It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “I would not like to have (the equivalent of) Uhud in gold, then a third night comes to me and I have anything of it left, except something that I set aside to pay off a debt.”

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سُهَيْلِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِيهِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ أُحُدًا عِنْدِي ذَهَبًا،‏‏‏‏ فَتَأْتِي عَلَيَّ ثَالِثَةٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَعِنْدِي مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ،‏‏‏‏ إِلَّا شَيْءٌ أَرْصُدُهُ فِي قَضَاءِ دَيْنٍ .

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میں نہیں چاہتا کہ میرے پاس احد پہاڑ کے برابر سونا ہو اور تیسرا دن آئے تو میرے پاس اس میں سے کچھ باقی رہے، سوائے اس کے جو میں قرض ادا کرنے کے لیے رکھ چھوڑوں ۱؎۔
