It was narrated that Jabir said: A man from among the Ansar came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), I have a slave girl. Should I do 'Azl (coitus interruptus) with her?' He said 'Whatever is decreed for her shall come to her. He (the Ansari) came to him later on and said: The slave girl has become pregnant. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Nothing is decreed for a person but it will surely come to pass.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا خَالِي يَعْلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَابِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنَّ لِي جَارِيَةً أَعْزِلُ عَنْهَا؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سَيَأْتِيهَا مَا قُدِّرَ لَهَا ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَتَاهُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَدْ حَمَلَتِ الْجَارِيَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا قُدِّرَ لِنَفْسٍ شَيْءٌ إِلَّا هِيَ كَائِنَةٌ .

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں:   انصار کا ایک آدمی نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور کہنے لگا: اللہ کے رسول! میرے پاس ایک لونڈی ہے میں اس سے عزل کرتا ہوں ۱؎، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو اس کے مقدر میں ہو گا وہ اس کے پاس آ کر رہے گا ، کچھ دنوں کے بعد وہ آدمی حاضر ہوا اور کہا: لونڈی حاملہ ہو گئی، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس کی تقدیر میں جو ہوتا ہے وہ ہو کر رہتا ہے ۲؎۔
