Umrah Visa Policy for South Africa

New Umrah Visa Policy 2019-20 (1441 AD) for South Africa has been announced by the Saudi government.

Saudi Arabia is regarded as the holiest country for Muslims. The key reason is the presence of Masjid Al Nabvi, Masjid Al Haram, and other religious places in the country. From several decades, Saudi Arabia is hosting pilgrims from different countries across the world for the religious tourism. Recently, the Saudi government revealed the important details regarding the new Umrah Visa Policy 2019-20 (1441 AD), the issuance of visa began from Muharram 10, 1441 AD, Sep 10, 2019. Although, country, but each year Muslim came from the country to perform Hajj and Umrah. In 2018 and 2019, several pilgrims from South Africa came for Umrah. As per the statistics of Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, thousands of Muslims came to perform Umrah.

Umrah Visa Fee for South Africa
From now, Saudi government has been introduced online Umrah visa or called Umrah e-visa for pilgrims going for Umrah. There is no visa fee for Umrah going from South Africa for their first visit or at least spend two years from last Umrah visit. Earlier, there was a SAR 2000 Umrah fee for those people who are visiting within two years of their last Umra. However, it is now lifted.
