Haqjaan is an campaign organized by the students of Sindh Madressatul Islam University, Karachi. The main purpose of this campaign is to aware people about their fundamental rights. As we all know that, Pakistan’s 1973 constitution describes the fundamental rights for each and every individual, but there is also a lack of illiteracy among the people who doesn’t know their basic rights.
Human are born free but are encountering number of problems which makes them slaves and snatch their freedoms. The main purpose of this slavery is the thinking of people when they stop demanding their rights. The situation of Human Rights in Pakistan is complex as a result of the country's diversity, large population, its status as a developing country and a sovereign Islamic democracy with a mixture of both Islamic and secular law. The Constitution of Pakistan provides for fundamental rights, which include freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of information, freedom of religion, freedom of association, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly. The number of efforts had been made to ensure people about their fundamental rights but there is also a lack of improper way to aware people therefore many students started their campaigns to aware people about their rights. Similarly the students of Sindh Madressatul Islam University also doing their best to accomplish the awareness of rights among the people. The campaign consist following steps which are as follow:

• Group discussions
The students are very keen to aware people about their rights and their main target is the youth which are considered as the future of the country. The overall efforts are proved to be very beneficial for the people all over Pakistan as the main theme of the campaign depends on social media which is the best symbol of communication all over the world.
