Electricity Issue in karachi, “The increasing in hour’s”

Almost all the social, business
and civic activities remained badly paralyzed due to this what the local people
and traders said, unbearable 9’hours long load shedding of electricity here.
The local perturbed people said that the supply of electricity today remained
suspended for 9’ hours (almost the whole of last night and whole of the day
Saturday) in the above-mentioned areas. The concerned officials of WABDA in
Karachi said that the power supply remained suspended direct from Capital, in
this regard.
Meanwhile, Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) have strongly
rejected the recent massive 5.80 percent increase in power tariff by Nepra,
saying that this increase would prove a cut throat for the karachi industries
which were already on the verge of collapse due to uncontrolled worst energy
crisis.
Talking to the newsmen the KCCI President Mian Abrar Ahmad has expressed grave
concern over this increase in power tariff by Nepra, demanding immediate
withdrawal of this increase, in the larger interest f the general public and
especially the business community of the country, in this regard.
