We Became so Insensitive!

(Khadeeja Tabreek, Karachi)

We sometimes attend Seminars, conferences, lectures that provokes some important thoughts but as soon as we leave the hall, we stop thinking about that and pay no heed to it. We have listened many advices and moral teachings somewhere and we feel that the deep words have greatly influenced our hearts and minds and it will change our mode of thinking, mode of taking decisions or mode of passing life and sometimes we don't feel so. Not sometimes but often. However, we feel it or not we do not see any practical impact of that advice or worthwhile lecture in our lives. It is because we made ourselves heartless and thick-skinned. Although we feel that we should practice it but as soon as we leave the hall we just forget it because we do not really try to remember and to consider the advice. We have become stubborn and we made our hearts totally feeling-less. That is why, we are not getting progresses both individually and collectively. We have stopped to feel any shame on the disgrace of our nation and country in the Television shows eg. US aid mission and the very disrespectful content in many Indian dramas and movies. We not only continue to watch these shows but we also show our interest in these programs as our enemy tried to make us unemotional on our insults through this way.

From a child to a teenager, from a teenager to a sensible young, from a young to a mature man everyone disrespects the elders and just neglect their guidance. This is the reason we are not getting successful or achieving our goals we want in our life.

The way to get rid of this situation, we must learn to consider and not to forget the worthwhile words of our elders.

We have to feel something in our hearts like anger and protest whenever wherever we see something that humiliates our nation or country and do the proper actions under the supervision or guidance of experts for it. Our survival is possible only through having some feels of patriotism for our country and the strong will power to act upon and practice the advices we want to apply in our lives and in this way we will start our journey on the road of progress InshAllah.
