The Council of Islamic Ideology was given many tasks by the Government of Ayub Khan of which one is "To compile guidance for the Parliament and Provincial Assemblies. " This single compilation give rise to so many questions: Why CII don't have drafted recommendations over the burning and prevailing issue of financial mistrust? Why CII keeps it's eyes close on the prevailing and everyday growing number of insurgents in the name of religion and sectarian rift? Why don't Council of Islamic Ideology is far away from the issue of education, heaith provision and public security within an Islamic State?? Are these issues are not the part of Islamic Ideological State? CII has never raised fingers on the appointment of illiterate personnels within the Mosques to instruct the local inhabitants within Pakistan? Another interesting fact is their continuous muteness on the issue of child assault in Pakistan. Apart from all this CII has opted for a killing silence over the APS disaster and Bacha Khan University attack, being an Islmic entity it was their responsibility to publicly condemn these attacks to assure their timely lip service. But surprisingly CII is brave enough to condemn the Women Protection Bill and legitimates the light beating of a women paritularly by their husbands, with no prior conditions. The CII stated"A husband may, when needed, lightly beat his wife" without justification of Women rights and granted a new provision for the Islamic mistrust. CII han't warned the men about their obligations as mentioned in Quran. This is probably either because of male dominace of the members of CII with only female counterpart or due to their alienation to Islamic speculations of life. If this is the condition of recommending authority then what can be it's possible outcomes?
