This is a fully sponsored government scholarship offered by the Higher Education Department (HED) of the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhaw Pakistan, in its 3 rd -batch which covers tuition, accommodation and stipends to the talented students who are not able to afford tertiary education.

What Is the KDDP Scholarship Program?
The KDDP Scholarship Program belongs to the Kohat Division Development Program, which is the practice to enhance the education and skill development in the under-serviced regions. It is a merit-cum-need-based program, which provides fully paid scholarships to students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in the high-demand areas such as engineering, health sciences, and emerging technologies.
Students are able to learn at top institutions which include KMU, UET Peshawar, GIKI, BUITEMS and PAF-IAST. In 2025-26, KDDP will have 154 scholarships (new and renewed).
Who Can Apply for KDDP Scholarship?
To apply for KDDP Scholarship 2025–26, you must:
- Domicile from Kohat, Karak, Hangu, or Lakki Marwat.
- Score at least 60% in your last exams.
- Be financially deserving (BISP score 0–45).
- Not receiving another KP government scholarship.

The KDDP scholarships do not occur at HED, but rather at your university. Here's how it goes:
- Secure admission in an eligible 2025–26 program.
- Get a KDDP form from the scholarship office of your university.
- Send necessary documents such as CNIC, domicile, admission letter, and transcripts.
- Wait for approval from the Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC).
