Surah Al Imran Ayat 156 in Arabic
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَكُوۡنُوۡا كَالَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا وَقَالُوۡا لِاِخۡوَانِهِمۡ اِذَا ضَرَبُوۡا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ اَوۡ كَانُوۡا غُزًّى لَّوۡ كَانُوۡا عِنۡدَنَا مَا مَاتُوۡا وَمَا قُتِلُوۡاۚ لِيَجۡعَلَ اللّٰهُ ذٰلِكَ حَسۡرَةً فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِهِمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ يُحۡىٖ وَيُمِيۡتُؕ وَ اللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ بَصِيۡرٌ ﴿۱۵۶﴾
Surah Al Imran Ayat 156 with Urdu Translation
اے ایمان والو! ان کافروں (ف۲۹۵) کی طرح نہ ہونا جنہوں نے اپنے بھائیوں کی نسبت کہا کہ جب وہ سفر یا جہاد کو گئے (ف۲۹۶) کہ ہمارے پاس ہوتے تو نہ مرتے اور نہ مارے اتے اس لئے اللہ ان کے دلوں میں اس کا افسوس رکھے، اور اللہ جِلاتا اور مارتا ہے (ف۲۹۷) اور اللہ تمہارے کام دیکھ رہا ہے، ﴿۱۵۶﴾

مومنو! ان لوگوں جیسے نہ ہونا جو کفر کرتے ہیں اور ان کے (مسلمان) بھائی جب (خدا کی راہ میں) سفر کریں (اور مر جائیں) یا جہاد کو نکلیں (اور مارے جائیں) تو ان کی نسبت کہتے ہیں کہ اگر وہ ہمارے پاس رہتے تو نہ مرتے اور نہ مارے جاتے۔ ان باتوں سے مقصود یہ ہے کہ خدا ان لوگوں کے دلوں میں افسوس پیدا کر دے اور زندگی اور موت تو خدا ہی دیتا ہے اور خدا تمہارے سب کاموں کو دیکھ رہا ہے ﴿۱۵۶﴾

Surah Al Imran Ayat 156 with English Translation
O ye who believe! Be not as those who disbelieved and said of their brethren who went abroad in the land or were fighting in the field: If they had been (here) with us they would not have died or been killed: that Allah may make it anguish in their hearts. Allah giveth life and causeth death; and Allah is Seer of what ye do. ﴾156﴿
