Surah Yunus Ayat 98 in Arabic
فَلَوۡلَا كَانَتۡ قَرۡيَةٌ اٰمَنَتۡ فَنَفَعَهَاۤ اِيۡمَانُهَاۤ اِلَّا قَوۡمَ يُوۡنُسَؕ لَمَّاۤ اٰمَنُوۡا كَشَفۡنَا عَنۡهُمۡ عَذَابَ الۡخِزۡىِ فِىۡ الۡحَيٰوةِ الدُّنۡيَا وَمَتَّعۡنٰهُمۡ اِلٰى حِيۡنٍ ﴿۹۸﴾
Surah Yunus Ayat 98 with Urdu Translation
تو ہوئی ہوتی نہ کوئی بستی (ف۲۰۵) کہ ایمان لاتی (ف۲۰۶) تو اس کا ایمان کام آتا ہاں یونس کی قوم، جب ایمان لائے ہم نے ان سے رسوائی کا عذاب دنیا کی زندگی میں ہٹادیا اور ایک وقت تک انہیں برتنے دیا (ف۲۰۷) ﴿۹۸﴾

تو کوئی بستی ایسی کیوں نہ ہوئی کہ ایمان لاتی تو اس کا ایمان اسے نفع دیتا ہاں یونس کی قوم۔ جب ایمان لائی تو ہم نے دنیا کی زندگی میں ان سے ذلت کا عذاب دور کردیا اور ایک مدت تک (فوائد دنیاوی سے) ان کو بہرہ مند رکھا ﴿۹۸﴾

Surah Yunus Ayat 98 with English Translation
If only there had been a community (of all those that were destroyed of old) that believed and profited by its belief as did the folk of Jonah! When they believed We drew off from them the torment of disgrace in the life of the world and gave them comfort for a while. ﴾98﴿
