حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْمُوصِلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ رَأَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ ثَوْبَيْنِ مُعَصْفَرَيْنِ فَقَالَ أَأُمُّكَ أَمَرَتْكَ بِهَذَا قُلْتُ أَغْسِلُهُمَا قَالَ بَلْ أَحْرِقْهُمَا

Urdu Translation

  طاوس نے حضرت عبد اللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے گیروے رنگ کے دو کپڑے پہنے ہو ئے دیکھا تو آپ نے فرما یا : " کیا تمھا ری ماں نے تمھیں یہ کپڑےپہننے کا حکم دیا ہے؟ " میں نے عرض کی : میں ان کو دھو ڈالوں ؟آپ نے فرما یا : " بلکہ ان کو جلا دو ۔ "

English Translation

Abdullah b. 'Amr reported: Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) saw me in two clothes dyed in saffron, whereupon he said: Has your mother ordered you to do so? And I said: I will wash them. He said: But burn them.
