In the Islamic calendar, Rajab is regarded among the sacred months. Prayer is among the five pillars of Islam, and on the night of Rajab 27, it became obligatory on Muslims. Due to the importance of this month, a lot of Muslims keep fast during this month. Some Islamic scholars emphasized on the importance of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Roza Fazilat of Rajab. It is narrated from Abu Muhammad Al Khallal (Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him) that “Fasting the first day of Rajab compensates for the sins of three years, fasting the second day expiates two years of sins and fasting the third day expiates one year of sins, thereafter one month’s sins are expiated for each day of fasting”.
