Jannat Ul Baqi Graveyard History and Complete Information

The graveyard of Jannat Ul Baqi is regarded among the historic Islamic landmarks. Muslims from all around the world visit it during Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage. The place has high respect among them due to the presence of graves of renowned Islamic figures. However, graves of family members of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) are there in large numbers. On the other side, graves of around 10,000 Sahabas are also present.
It is believed that Hazrat As’ad Bin Zararah (Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) was the first person to be buried in the Jannat Ul Baqi cemetery. On the other side, Hazrat Uthman bin Mazoun (Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) was the first Muhajir (Immigrant) who was buried at this place.
