شور گلیوں میں سدا کیا کرنا
روتی رہی میری تقدیر مجھے گلے سے لگا کر
اسے بھولنا چاہوں تو بڑھ جاتی ہے بے چینی
نہ جانے وہ کہاں کھو گیا مجھے خواب دکھا کر
اب مقدمے کو لڑنے کی سکت مجھ میں نہیں ہے
اے منصف مجھے سزا دے یا مجھ کو رہا کر
میری لمبی ہے مسافت اور انجانے ہیں رستے
تو نے ساتھ نہیں دینا تو دعائیں تو دیا کر
غیر تو خاموش ہیں میری بربادی پہ لیکن
کتنا خوش ہے میرا قبیلہ میرے خیمے کو جلا کر
