میری زندگی میں خوشیوں کی کوئی کرن نہیں ہے
اگر تم میرے ہمسفر نہ بنو گے تو میں اندھیرے میں گم ہو جاؤں گی
تو پھر تھام لو میرے ہاتھوں کو تم
اور لے چلو وہاں جہاں صرف میں ہوں ور تم ہو
اور دنیا کا ہر خوبصورت نظارہ ہو
تمہیں کیسے بتاؤں کہ مجھے تم سے محبت ہے
تمہاری مسکراہٹ اپنی پلکوں میں چھپا لوں گی
فقط اِک بار ہاں کہہ دو مجھے اس کی اجازت ہے
تمہاری دید کی طالب یہ آنکھیں کہتی رہتی ہیں
تمہیں ہر روز دیکھنا میری آنکھوں کی حسرت ہے
تمہیں یوں رو برو پا کر دھڑکنا بھول جاتا ہے
مگر تم کو ہی چاہتا ہے میرے دِل کی جسارت ہے
میری نظروں سے اپنے حسن کی تاثیر جانچ لو
میں خود سے کیا کہوں کتنی حسیں تر یہ زیارت ہے
تمہارے بِن بہت دشوار ہے جینا میرا جاناں!
تمہارا ساتھ پا لینا میرے جیون کی راحت ہے
وہ تیرا حالِ دِل عظمٰی بھلا کیسے سمجھ پائیں
