What is Nawruz and how the celebrators are celebrating it?

The word Nawruz come from the persian language, which literally means New day or New beggining. Simply, I can say, forgetting all those mistakes or bad deed, which you did in the previous year and now you have chance to learn from those mistakes or bad deed to move forward with positive thinking for the success of both of the world.

There are different countries which are celebrating this day to mark the New year on march 21st of every year. This day also marks the beggining of spring with new dreams or ambitions .

In northern areas of our Country ,there the people are also celebrating this day.

First we will discuss about Chitral , they begin their celebration one day earlier with traditional chitrali food (Shoshpalaki, pandeer mozhi ) etc. I can try to explain the food names in English, Shoshpalaki is a testiest sweet food and Pandeer mozhi is also a food, which is made up of with the combination of cheese and dough. Before getting the taste of these type of delicious food the people are wishing each other and visiting thier neighbours and relatives home ,during visiting they are tasting the foods. Then,in the very morning parents and children dressed up with new dresses according to their status .Then,"coming and going" start in everyone home ,they people who are hosting ,they are welcoming their guests with satisfactory smiling faces and after a moment when they guests are asking for allowing them to go they people are saying good bye with the bottom of their heart and they are being so grateful of guest for visiting .And everyone face is being shined like a Moon and wishing each other with very deep hearted smiling. It continues for 3 or 4 days.

In Gilgit, they begin their celebration early in the morning,Children dressed up in new clothes, exchanging very kind words and wishing each other . They play different kind of games like, "egg breaking" Polo and dance or music are also the part of their celebration.
