February 14, A Day For Lovers Known As Valentine’s Day

The February 14th has reached once again and the lovers are ready to enthusiastically celebrate the day which is known as “Valentine’s Day”. This day is very controversial not only for the Muslims but also for the Hindus and other followers of various religions.

People usually consider that the Muslims are conservative and do not accept these types of occasions but these types of occasions are not only prohibited in Islam but also they are prohibited in other religions as Hinduism, Buddhism and others.

If we talk about India which is a very liberal country and sex education is started to give to the students there from school level, many Hindus or it can be said that many extremists extremely forbid Valentine’s Day there and declare the day against their traditions or customs. Even, the extremists have created various groups in India to cope with this occasion and the groups are in search of couples on Valentine’s Day. When they find couples in red dresses and celebrating the day, the groups start to beat them with sticks harshly and surely they do correct in order to save their society from increasing evil deeds.

Similarly, when we talk about Pakistan, the Muslims surely detest Valentine’s Day and they want to save the Muslim adults who easily are affected by evil deeds and adopt these types of occasions. It cannot be ignored that the media has performed a big role to spread or prevail these types of occasions in any society. Today, various advertisements and dramas are being aired which have been made especially for Valentine’s Day. When someone rises or raises his voice against the day, the media immediately shows that restraining someone from celebrating the Valentine’s Day is the violation of human’s rights!

On the other hand, if we talk about Valentine’s Day, very few people know about the reality of the day and surely most of the people just celebrate the day either for self-enjoyment with girls or they think that the day is special for lovers. A question arises here will the foreigners teach us loving people whereas they themselves are not aware of the real love! They feel proud to sleep with their dogs but they bring their mothers to Old Houses and leave there for spending their lives without their children! Is this love? The parents who teach their children to walk by holding their fingers are badly sent to old houses why?

Anyway, the Muslims have started to celebrate “Haya Day” or “Modesty Day” and all the Muslims and followers of other religions should adopt this day and spread it in the whole world to cope with increasing evil deeds or immodesty in the world. This can be used as weapon against those who like to spread immodesty and demoralize the adults.
