India is the world’s largest
democratic country where secular fabric is enjoyed by each citizen on the pages
of constitution but no longer remained it’s ground reality, however in most of
the cases the religious faiths and collective consciences are preferred and
prioritized neglecting social harmony and keeping at bay the secular
infrastructure , the secularism along with its meaning is omitted from the books
of law if it poses threats to their religious sentiments shaking the basement of
Hindu religion, the secularism has never been implemented on the bases of ground
reality, but if same issue and similar scenario pertains to the feelings of
minorities particularly Muslims, if Muslim’s sentiments their religious laws
come under attack at that time the door of secularism is closed upon them
depriving of their religious rights, their religious procession has been banned
citing the bogus and limping references that it hurts Hindu’s faiths.
There are plethora of issues and plenty of examples which have already been
banned just because these activities are associated with Muslims giving value to
Hindu’s sentiments, and more importantly and sarcastically it’s been validated
and advocated by so called Muslim puppets tendering the above cited references
that Muslims must thwart themselves from involvement in such activities if hurts
Hind brother’s sentiments, cow slaughtering issue is one of them which is long
debated and prolonged discussed issue since Muslim emperor stepped into Indian
subcontinent, and because of it the cow slaughtering is considered the severe
crime in the sight of most states of India. The cow is very sacred animal
according to Hindu religion –though it’s debatable issue, they worship her as a
mother, if the cow is slaughtered in any part of India it hurts their religious
faith, such act causes their religious pain, which ends up destruction of Muslim
properties, that’s why Muslims are advised to not have her meat, hence they
speak out in favor of cow slaughter ban stating that it is not related to
Muslim’s faith, if they quit having her, it won’t matter to their religious
faith in vice versa it strongly affects Hindu’s religious faith, it panics them
too much, same thing had been felt by the bugle blower of non-violence movement
–MK Gandhi- launching a mass movement on unprecedented scale against cow
slaughter stating that it hurts Hindu’s sentiments, on other hand it has no
effect on Muslim’s faith, Muslims were requested to not indulge in such
activities in order to propagate brotherhood, spreading social harmony uprooting
the seed of hatred amongst citizens, and keeping the theory of secularism
inflamed, no sooner he moved to Bihar with this movement then he was stopped by
the founder of Jamiat-E- Ulamae Hind as well as Amarat-E- Sharia Molana Sajjad
sb advising MK Gandhi to not step ahead , if you do not draw back this movement
then I will also hold conference wherever you will do to not let you achieve
success, the same references repeated by MK Gandhi in front of him that with the
purpose of propagation of brotherhood and peace we are launching this movement ,
it’s absolutely not good in the favor of country , why are you purposelessly
poking your nose in this affair, better you to pave the way, Molana replied in
his query that your movement has no purpose and significance, it will go in
vain, he asked how, then Molana replied in detail taking a long sigh of relief,
“ cow slaughtering hurts your sentiments , similarly it’s our faith that God is
the supreme power and creator of everything and each molecules, we must be
worshiper of one and single god, the moment you bow your head in front of stone
, idol, the moment you worship the sea, river and other animals at that time you
can’t’ realize how we Muslims feel, but regardless of these things we bear
otherwise we are commanded to manifest the oneness in every part of the
universe, Molana’s conversation left MK Gandhi speechless, hence he requested to
quit worshipping homemade god and goddess openly in public places, if you are
ready then I make you ensure and give you guarantee to give cow slaughtering up,
upon his rational request MK Gandhi quit his movement .
Later MK Gandhi felt that there is a long list of activities and countless
procession being performed by Hindus which directly or to some extent indirectly
hurt Muslim sentiment despite they tolerate to show brotherhood to walk shoulder
to shoulder with all strata of community having patience caring of their
religious sentiments.
Islam is one and only religion on the earth which taught it’s followers every
single issue including what should they eat and what not, which type of food is
lawful and which is unlawful, one of them cow is lawful.
As per Molana Modudwi who emphasized to sacrifice cow in a country where cow is
worshiped otherwise Muslims will be considered the worshipers which is against
Islamic faith, however the legislature, supreme court and management thwart us
to sacrifice her keeping in mind the prose of one community on one hand and
ignoring it’s cons for other community on other hand.
