The Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program May 2025 is an educational program under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). Through this program, millions of children from low-income families receive conditional cash transfers to increase enrollment in schools and reduce dropout rates all across Pakistan.

So far 12 million children have been enrolled in schools via this program, which includes 9.3 million from primary, 2.4 million from secondary, and0.3 million from higher secondary school. Almost Rs. 63.34 billion has been disbursed to deserving children in Pakistan.

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Stipend Increase

The Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program stipend increase was officially implemented in January 2025.

The program promotes gender equality and women's empowerment; this is why the educational stipend for girls is slightly higher than for boys. The updated stipend amounts are

• From KG to 5th: Rs. 2,500 for boys and Rs. 3,000 for girls
• From 6th to 10th: Rs. 3,500 for boys and Rs. 4,000 for girls
• 11th and 12th: Rs. 4,500 for boys and Rs. 5,000 for girls

The reason for the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif stipend increase was to support and encourage low-income families in Pakistan to educate their children.

The Benazir Taleemi Wazaif online check facility allows the beneficiaries to track their eligibility, payment status, or location. There are two methods to check your status:

• Go to the BISP 8171 portal.
• Enter your 13-digit CNIC number.
• Solve the captcha.
• Click 'Check Status.'

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Check Via SMS

• Send your CNIC (without dashes) as an SMS to 8171.
• Wait for the response to check your status via SMS.

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Payment

Only eligible candidates can receive Benazir Taleemi Wazaif payment. To apply for the program, these eligibility requirements need to be fulfilled:

• The applicant must be an active beneficiary of BISP Kafalat. /li>
• The child must be 4–12 years for primary, 8–18 years for secondary, and 13–22 years for higher secondary school. /li>
• The child must be enrolled in a registered school. /li>
• The child must have 70% and above attendance.

The quarterly payments are disbursed via Official BISP Campsites, HBL Konnect Agents, and Bank Alfalah Branches.

For the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program registration 2025, applicants need to follow these steps:

• Visit the nearest BISP center along with the beneficiary's CNIC, the child’s NADRA-verified B-form/CRC, and the school/college admission slip signed by the teacher.
• Fill out the application form or ask for assistance.
• Submit the form along with necessary documents.
• After registration, maintain 70% attendance in school.
