Surah Al-Isra does mention Meraj

In the Quran, the Quran makes reference to the event of Mi illustrated in Surah Al-Isra (Surah 17).

Key Verse (Surah Al-Isra 17:1):

Praise be to Him who seized his servant by night out of the Al-Masjid Al-Haram to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, the environs of which We have blessed, in order to demonstrate to him of our signs. In reality, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.”

Explanation:

This is the verse that speaks of Al-Isra, the heavenly night trip of the prophet Muhammad in Makkah to Masjid Al-Aqsa. The Miʿraj (ascension to the heavens) is elaborated in the original Hadith where the Prophet ﷺ was elevated throughout the heavens and given tremendous religious manifestations, among them being the mandate of five daily prayers.

Muslims celebrate Shab-e-Meraj on 27th of Rajab when they remember and celebrate this blessed night by praying, remembering, and performing other devout activities though it may not be celebrated in the same way in all regions.

Surah Isra also contains a verse that is considered the Night Journey verse, which describes the Prophet Muhammad's miraculous journey from Mecca to Jerusalem and his ascension to the heavens.
