محبت خواب سا لمحہ
محبت جسم کا شعلہ

یہ لافانی بھی، فانی بھی
محبت ہاتھ تھامے تو
اُفق سے تا اُفق
یہ فاصلہ کچھ بھی نہیں ہوتا
محبت پَر سنوارے تو
یہ سیارے،ستارے
ایک پَل کے فاصلے پر ہیں
محبت اِک دئیے ایسی
اندھیری عمر کے رستوں کو اتنا جگمگاتی ہے
کہ اِک دوری پہ رکھی کہکشاؤں کو
ساتھ اپنے لے کے آتی ہے
محبت میں بھی، اور تم بھی
کہ جب تک میں بھی زندہ ہوں
کہ جب تک تو سلامت ہے
محبت مر نہیں سکتی
