خوب آنچل کو نہ پا کر ہُوئے آب آب جناب

کس کی خوشبو نے کیے گُل سبھی شاداب جناب
چاند کو ڈُھونڈنے ہم سارے نکلتے ہیں مگر
ڈُھونڈنے کس کو نکلتا ہے یہ مہتاب جناب
آپ پہ لکھ دُوں میں دیوان مگر دیکھوں تو
منہ زَبانی تو میں لکھتا نہیں اِک باب جناب
آپ ’’تم جیسے‘‘ ہمیں شوق سے کہیے لیکن
ہو نہ جائیں کہیں ہم جیسے بھی نایاب جناب
قیس نے چاہا تمہیں ، جُرم کیا ، مان لیا
جُرم کے کس نے مہیا کیے اَسباب جناب!

جو مار رہے انہیں مارنے کا ڈر نہیں
جو مر رہے ہیں انہیں اسکی خبر نہیں
ہر طرف بیواؤں یتیموں کی آہ ہے
زخموں سے چور چور اور کراہ ہے
کب تک یہ خون ناحق بہتا رہے گا
کب تک یہ سلسلہ چلتا رہے گا
بے گناہ خوں کے اے زمہ دارو
حشر میں کیا منہ دکھاؤگے اللہ کو
